Delivering Customer Satisfaction With A Smile

To enhance competitiveness, the Board of Directors approved the creation of a position tasked to  champion excellent customer care. MS. PRINCESS L. ENDOZO the former Training Assistant was appointed by the Board as the Customer Care Officer (CCO), a position responsible for formulating customer care standards and ensuring compliance with the standard guidelines. The position also involves conducting training sessions on customer care, and handling of individual patients or customer groups with regards to complaints, information requests, and other feedbacks about their health care needs.
In line with the said thrust, Daniel Mercado Medical Center, in cooperation with GlaxoSmithKline, launched the first Customer Care seminar-workshop on December 16th 2008. The “Total Customer Care Workshop”, was facilitated by Miss Ana Andrea Lim, the Human Resource Manager of GlaxoSmith-Kline. The half- day workshop was attended by 31 participants, mostly the department heads.
As a regular part of this program, Customer Care reminders and tips will be given every Monday during the flag ceremony.
DMMC management hopes that everyone would be supporting the program in order
to deliver customer satisfaction and loyalty which are the main pillars of longterm growth.

Free Eye Clinic Screening and Cataract Extraction

From July 29 – August 1 2008, the Tanauan City Government , sponsored a Free Eye Clinic Screening and Cataract Extraction at the 2nd Floor of the Estela Mercado Medical Plaza Building. The project was spearheaded by Congresswoman Vicky Hernandez Reyes with the assistance of the Tanauan City local government doctors, employees, and volunteers. Hundreds of Tanauan City residents , aged 50 and above, availed of the free services. Cataract extraction was undertaken at the DMMC surgery room.
DMMC is looking forward to hosting similar projects in the future and remains committed in its role as a partner of public health service.
