President's Message
In our pursuit to double in five, DMMC is now moving towards a new horizon. Today, we are among the top hospitals in the CALABARZON area, but we must not stop here, it’s time to pursue programs to bring us to the next level of competency, being recognized nationally.
Going national will not be easy, we will encounter difficulties and failures along the way. These are growing up pains that we have to experience to make us better. It is a part of our learning process to be a leading provider of affordable quality healthcare not only in
the CALABARZON area, but also to the rest of the country.
A great journey begins with a single step. Let us all make our first step by religiously performing our duties and responsibilities. The success of our endeavors is dependent on the contributions of every team member. Each role is as important as the others. Let us work arms in arms and keep our Kabisig Spirit alive on our way to a brighter future.
In the light of existing economic difficulties, the management is initiating moves for long term efficiency and growth by concentrating on capacity building. We will improve our facilities with newly interior decorated patient rooms and exterior facade renovation, upgrade our IT infrastructure, train our people on organizational and customer care concerns and redirect operational initiatives to align with patient needs.
I am also pleased to announce that, recently, we were awarded the UP-PGH FMAB (Faculty Medical Arts Building) Project. This serves as a testament to our unparalleled ability to manage hospital services and facilities. Consequently, it will broaden our area of coverage and put us in the mainstream of the industry. Let us make our dreams into reality step by step.

A Toast To All The Doctors
Speech Delivered during the Doctors’ Recognition Night

This is indeed a special evening, a night to acknowledge and thank all the wonderful people who have made DMMC what it is today. This night is for you, all the doctors who have given your continuing support and professionalism that have made DMMC the leading provider of affordable quality health care in Northern Batangas and one of the best hospitals in CALABARZON. Your support has been the wind beneath the wings of DMMC.
Tonight, we will be giving special tribute to our pioneer doctors, those visionary individuals who share a common passion for service and excellence. These are the men and women who were there at the initial incorporation of the Daniel Mercado Medical Center, which was then known as The Mercado General Hospital. These are the medical practitioners who continued to be with us in our search for better ways of improving the lives of our patients.
As we move toward the future, we hope that you would continue supporting the visions and aspirations that we all share. We have prepared a special evening, with a special guest that will surely make this a night to remember. Ms. Giselle Sanchez is here with us to make sure that this will be a night of fun, entertainment, and songs and dance.
