DMMC Industrial Clinic: Gearing Up in 2008

For years, the DMMC – Industrial Clinic and Occupational Health Unit has been committed to fulfill its vision to be recognized as a world class Industrial Health Unit. With this in mind, we are continuously finding ways to make our services better and more competitive. As part of this thrust, we are upgrading our Mobile X – Ray Unit. Recently, the Mobile X-Ray Unit’s interior has been modified to be more presentable and comfortable for its clients and soon its exterior will be having a new look that will be bearing the DMMC’s signature.
For the first half of the year, we were able to acquire new accounts (Phil Sanitary Fittings, Unilever, Wide World Express, DN Steel Marketing, MIG Contracting, Republic Cement) and win back previous clients (Cepol Services, Vision Plus, PKI ). Our clientele from January to June for PEME & APE increased by 81%.
As a way of strengthening our relationship with our clients, we participated in medical missions conducted by client companies (such as Helping Hands Foundation of Jose
P Laurel Bank – February 2008 ) and coordinated with pharmaceutical companies for medical supplies for utilization in medical mission. We also conducted FBS/Cholesterol Screening, ECG Screening ( Littelfuse Phils, Megapack ), BMI and other services like lectures in client companies (Cervical Ca Awareness in Honda Phils ) in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies. Being DOH-POEA-Marina and PCAHO accredited, we can ensure to provide the quality health care that is needed by our clients. As DMMC aims to double in five, the Industrial Unit likewise has geared-up towards the same goal.
