Center (DMMC) in Tanauan City, Batangas recently inaugurated its new facility--- theDMMC Aesthetic Surgical and Laser Center--- on October 5th, 2007.
The milestone event was graced by Congress-woman Vicky Hernandez-Reyes of the 3rd District of Batangas and Ms. Sonia Torres-Aquino, Mayor of Tanauan City.
The DMMC Aesthetic Surgical and Laser Center is the first and only hospital-based aesthetic center in Calabarzon that uses the
revolutionary Elos technology---the same equipment utilized only by the most advanced beauty clinics in the country. With this state-of-the-art technology, DMMC is blazing the trail in the Calabarzon area in order to better serve the growing needs of its expanding customer base.
The DMMC Aesthetic Center is offering Laser Services that reduces wrinkles, tighten skin and remove unwanted hairs. It also offers cosmetic surgeries like nose lift, breast, and face lifts among others.
With its team of highly competent doctors and staff, DMMC is looking forward to being
the center of total beauty and wellness, not only in Batangas, but also in Calabarzon.
DMMC NEW LABORATORY COMPLEX

In our continuous effort to uphold our main objective towards DOUBLE IN 5, THE DMMC has embarked on another significant phase of building development, The new Laboratory Complex, comprising various sections such as Blood bank, Histopathology, Drug Testing, Extraction Area, Receiving Area, Clinical Microscopy, Hematology, Serology, Bacteriology, Clinical Chemistry, and Pathology Office.
The project commenced last June 2007 and was finally completed on August 9, 2007 considering the time and motion to transfer so as not to disrupt the existing hospital operation.
The Architectural plan dwells on the principle of “Less is More” by German Architect Mies Van De Rohe manifested through simple planning, less partitions thus giving better access…better mobility.
The design focused on open planning and proper space inter-relationship to achieve outmost convenience of the end users and in turn better service to the clientele.
The relocation of the LAB COMPLEX marked another milestone in the history of DMMC’s building improvement and development plan. The centralization within the complex not only attributed better service, much more
Speech Therapy at DMMC
The hospital contracted a Speech Therapist to complement the services being offered of the Rehabilitation Department. The Speech Therapy Clinic is conducted every Thursday and Saturday from 8am to 5pm at the Rehab Department. The morning sessions are dedicated to in-patient referrals while walk-in patients are being seen in the afternoon. The Clinic caters to patients with, but not limited to, the following conditions: Pervasive developmental disorders, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, Mental retardation, Learning disabilities, Developmental language disorders, Multiple developmental disabilities, Congenital anomalies, Chromosomal abnormalities, Hearing impairment, Stuttering / disfluency, Dysphagia, Voice problems, Post-stroke and traumatic brain injury difficulties, and Motor speech disorders.
